The Respite Association

 What we fund:

  • We fund suitably qualified carers to take over so that the usual carer can take a well earned break.
  • Most of our grants are for a few hundred pounds but we are happy to share funding with other sources.
  • Please note that we do not fund the carers break, or anything associated with it, just the caring support.
  • We do offer one week “carer breaks”, see our Breaks For Carers page for the separate application form for this.

If you are requesting support for summer camps at Camp Kef, Camp Horizon, Misgav or Tikva please contact them directly, they have their own forms, which need to be returned directly to the camp not to us.

Most of our referrals come from caring organisations, such as Crossroads, SSAFA or Age Concern, or directly from Social Services on behalf of individuals.

If you do not have contact with such an organisation you can still apply either using the online form above or via our PDF form (click here) which can be completed and emailed, or printed out and posted.
